CarbonCounted is a not-for-profit organization operating CarbonConnect, a carbon footprinting network open to all businesses, consultants, NGOs and governments.

CarbonConnect is a web-based, third-party audited carbon footprint and carbon labeling network for businesses to:

• Determine, manage and report direct carbon footprints (GHG inventory accounting).
• Work independently and/or with environmental firms that are Certified Auditors.
• Produce carbon labels for products or services.
• Directly link carbon footprints with suppliers and customers.

Working together, businesses and consumers can reduce carbon emissions:

• Businesses use the CarbonConnect carbon network to produce carbon labels.
• Individuals can reduce emissions by using the carbon labels to choose products and services with lower carbon footprints and/or businesses that have taken first steps to determine their emissions.
